A Cold Clear Sky
Jessica Dempsey, Antarctica

To see what Jessica Dempsey, astronomer in the Antarctic, was doing on about 15 April, please click on this link to reach her weblog. When you reach the weblog, you will need to scroll down to find her entry for mid-April.

Jessica posted on the 14th of April 2005 because the time when the satellite carrying her internet link passes overhead did not permit a submission on the actual Day in Science, 15 April. Then again, would it be a problem if she were a little farther south? Who knows what the date is at the South Pole, as it is in all time zones at once.
